접속사 + 주어 + 동사로 이루어진 부사절을
👉 간단하게 줄여서 분사구문으로 표현하는 것!

Because she was tired, she slept early.
→ Being tired, she slept early.
When I entered the room, I saw my friends.
→ Entering the room, I saw my friends.

🔸 2. 분사구문 만들기 순서

예시: Because she opened the gift, she smiled.

1️⃣ 접속사 삭제 → opened the gift
2️⃣ 주어 확인 → 주절과 같음 (she)
3️⃣ 분사로 바꾸기 → opening the gift

💬 ‘being’이나 ‘having been’은 자주 생략되지만, 항상 되는 건 아니에요.

✏️ 짧고 쉬운 문장에서는 생략해도 돼요.
하지만 문장이 길거나 헷갈리면 생략하지 않는 게 좋아요.

🔹 형용사 분사구문 (Being + 형용사)

형용사로 시작하는 분사구문은 원래 Being + 형용사 구조예요.
→ 보통 Being은 생략됩니다.

🔸 5. 독립분사구문 (주어 다를 때)

주절과 부사절의 주어가 다를 때,

🔸 7. with + 명사 + 분사구문

with + 명사 + 분사구문은 ‘~한 채로’, ‘~하면서’의 상태를 설명합니다.

with + 명사 + 분사는 **분사구문이 아니라 ‘부사구 표현‘**이에요.
with + 명사 + 분사 구조는 추가 설명을 덧붙일 때 자주 사용돼요.
독립분사구문처럼 주절과 다른 주어가 존재하긴 하지만, 구조도, 기능도 전혀 다릅니다.
